La popular web de vídeos en Internet, YouTube, ha cambiado hoy el formato de visionado de sus vídeos, añadiendo el aspecto panorámico, en lugar del tradicional 4:3 establecido en los televisores y monitores tradicionales.
Tanto los vídeos como el reproductor se adaptan ahora a este nuevo formato, respondiendo a las demandas de los usuarios, que reclamaban este cambio, además de solicitar mayor calidad en las imágenes, una tarea que aún está pendiente. YouTube ha realizado este cambio sin previo aviso, algo que ya es tradicional en los lanzamientos de productos y servicios de Google.
Este cambio supone una adaptación para los vídeos que se encuentran en el formato 4:3 y un correcto visionado de aquellos que se graban en 16:9, que ya no se deforman ni pierden imagen o añaden las bandas negras horizontales, como ocurría hasta ahora.
Sin embargo, la compañía todavía no ha adaptado esta posibilidad en los enlaces para insertar los vídeos en otras páginas web.
